Herendeen Takes Home 2 Mississippi Music Awards!

GOD WON.....I won both categories Christian artist of the year and Christian song of the year. Thank you Lord, Thank Mississippi music Foundation, thank you Chester Lester for an amazing song, my beautiful wife, my FTD band, thank you so much to all who voted. We did it together. Great team work. I love you all and God bless. At the Mississippi music awards ceremony God put on my heart to give away Bibles. I was there to perform and nominated for the song, Goin' by the book. To which, thank God, it won Christian song of the year! As I sang the song, I started throwing out these little new testament Bibles. Then we gave them away to everyone in the building along with our CDs and memory sticks. One man came to me after the ceremony. He had gone to the table and got a Bible and cd. He told Angel and I that he was a 15 year alcoholic and drug addict. He had accepted Christ a few months earlier. Has been struggling with the devil trying to pull him back into the addictions. He then said said, This is the second best help he's had. The first was Jelly Roll on the awards ceremony on TV a few weeks ago. He held up a little Bible like this and now tonight you gave them away. He was so glad God was sending him encouragement. To my surprise many people took several to give to family and friends. One lady sent a message last night that she gave one to a man at a gas station. To sum it up, Thank you so much to all who helped get these Bibles and music. You are helping touch and change hearts and lives. There are more stories to tell. God is on the move and you should be proud. Thank you so much and God bless.
